Hitting the Canvas

Ahh d'être un artiste de la toile.
(ahh to be an artist of the canvas)

I've taken a happy leap back to painting canvases, I haven't for some time and I've fallen back in love with it.
The feel of the brush on the surface and the sound it makes, the smell of acrylic and the plop of my water jar, the small pauses where I wonder what best to do next.

I shied away at first because I didn't like my previous canvas works but I dived in this time round and I love what I'm producing now, I literally cannot get enough. I highly recommend trying canvas out if you haven't before and going back to it if you haven't spoken in a while.
